Family News :-

Please continue to pray for Laura as she recovers from a further operation.

Please continue to pray for all those we know and love who are unwell in any way, that God may touch them with His healing power.

Speaking of Laura – we have the privilege of baptising her and Kate on the 18th December after our 'Carols Plus' – great celebrations !!  Please stay to support them and their families.

Huge Congratulations to two of our our family reaching milestone birthdays this month.  Bob Rhodes is 80 on 3rd December, and on the very same day David Thomas celebrates his year of jubilee !  Have a brilliant day and a great year dear brothers !

Jenny Sawyer has put together an excellent programme for the Family event on 11th December – concentrated around the children hearing the story of Christmas as it happened.  Please be prepared to help/take part as Jenny ropes you in !  Our Catering Team as always will be putting on a wonderful tea.  This starts at 4pm.

On the morning of 11th December we will meet for a short time of worship & fellowship at 10.30am – after our time together we will be setting up for the afternoon, so please help if you are able.

As mentioned last month we have a 'Carols Plus' morning on 18th December – does anyone have a funny poem/story to tell on the Christmas theme ?  Anyone have a song they would like to sing ?  Then there's always a few cracker jokes to throw in the mix !

BIG BIG THANK YOU to all those who help make the weekend with Ian Christensen so wonderful.  What a great time it was !  For those who were not able to hear Ian's teaching, please see Bryan for a CD of the sessions.  It was so good to see our Barnabas family from New Life Plymouth on the Sunday.  We were challenged as individuals, families and churches to be 'Houses of Prayer'.  We were also encouraged to be 'MPU's – Mobile Prayer Units', making a difference wherever we are by praying all through our day.  REMEMBER THE SAYING IAN REPEATED MANY TIMES :-

NO PRAYER - ????????????
